With Juventus having been crowned champions of Serie A this season, the Italian club are set to sign an incredible signing in the form of former AC Milan player Mario Mandzukic.

According to the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the 28-year-old is set to join Juventus this summer.

He has made over 300 appearances for Milan and will play alongside the likes of Gianluigi Buffon and Mario Mando in the centre of midfield.

The Bianconeri will also be adding one of their most promising youngsters in Simone Zaza to the squad this summer, as the youngster will join them from Roma this summer to provide a different dimension to the midfield in which Mandzuka has played his entire career.

He will also take on a big role in the team’s plans to qualify for the Champions League.

With Juventus currently bottom of Serie B, a victory over Napoli this weekend would see them climb up to the Serie A table.

A win against Napoli would see Juventus qualify for Europe’s elite competition and would allow them to make a run for the quarter-finals of the Champions’ League.

Juventus are hoping to get out of the group stages of the competition by the time of the final, but their only realistic chance is a result against Roma in the group stage.

If Mandzukiic proves to be a success in his debut season in Serie A, Juventus will be able to challenge for a Champions League spot.
